Michigan CB Warren headed to NFL

DETROIT (AP)—Michigan cornerback Donovan Warren says he has declared for theNFL draft.
Warren tells The Associated Press on Sunday he believes it’s the right timeto take his game to the next level.
Michigan coach Rich Rodriguez said the junior had asked the NFL DraftAdvisory Board to project when he would be selected if chose to go pro. Warrensays he was told he would be taken in the first or second round.
He says he informed Rodriguez of his decision earlier on Sunday and thecoach was supportive.
Warren’s four interceptions led the Wolverines in 2009.
